In order to genuinely cry out on behalf of the helpless, we need input from people of all genders, locations, social statuses, ages, and backgrounds. We need your stories. your pictures. your prayers. poems. thoughts. quotes. the list goes on (literally. there are more ideas at the bottom of the page:) Send in works related to hope, suffering, agape love, joy, tribulation, trial, and brotherhood. Anything dealing with an emotional or physical poverty. We want the cry of oppressed to be unveiled. No makeup. Not glossed over to look pretty. Raw life at it most beautiful moments and at its worst moments. Raw humanity that's been given hope that only comes from Christ. We need your input.Thank you for your heart, thought, and help!

A Step-by-Step Guide to Get a Bit More Inspired and Get Involved

1. Stop Whatever you are doing. right now. And look at the glory of God all around you. It's everywhere. In the Sky. In the person next to you- God's keeping that heart beating. His majesty is everywhere.

2. Thank Him for it.

3. Think about your talents and pray that He will bring you the words to write, the lines to draw, the everything.

4. Wait- Do you smell that? What is that smell? Ahh- the smell of inspiration is in the air. Beautiful. Write your idea down.

5. Now go do it. What ever it is. Go create it for the glory of God.

6. When you're done, don't change anything! if it looks a bit messy even- send it to us! Without revision. We want reality. We're going unedited people!

7. Research/get connected to the spiritually and physically poor in your community. We can't write a book about helping without helping.

8. Send us your stories, pics, and creations at odetotheforgotten@yahoo.com (our temporary email). We want life experiences to permeate throughout the work and throughout this book. We need you. :)

9. Keep going. Tell your friends, family, that guy who greets you at Walmart. Greet him back and tell him he's love. Amen.

10. Repeat steps 1-9 until your brain can't take the flo of creativity no mo.
Thanks for your participation!
